Subject: PB Error Messages - Meaning and How to Respond/Correct?
To: ham-space@ucsd.edu
This weekend I had two excellant passes of KO-23. During both passes the
following Error Messages occured repeatedly:
Out of Memory
Error Allocating hole to init file
What are the meanings of these two messages and what are the most likely
causes? I was not able to find the information in the PB documents.
The setup is a DSP2232 serially connected to a 486 SX (20 MHz) at 19200 .
The software is running in DOS and there is only one TSR in memory
(loaded high) - an evaluation copy of rightime - to keep the computer time
accurate. I am using the serial monitoring capability of Rightime so that
it does not interfere with the operations of PB.
I did reboot the computer each pass and in one instance the error messages
re-occured and in the other they only appeared once and then PB settled
down.
Any suggestions or comments would be welcome.

Greetings,
I am looking for recommendations (and used items if you have them) for
pre-amps for 145 and 435MHz. I have looked at units made by ARR, SSB,
and Mirage/KLM. So far, the Mirage/KLM KP-2 series looks like the best
price/performance package.
Thanks,
